I'm wrangling dummies for a big stunt scene and they really remind me
of the pile of dead people from that creepy dream I had...

Weird dreams continue: a disturbance in my personal Force.
I just woke up from a really disturbing dream. I was in Ohio visiting my family. I wanted to drive out to see my grandparents, but the only car available to me was a little electric truck with a giant yellow shop vaccuum attached to it. I went to school (Catholic school) with Carolena, the Mother Of All Bellydancers, where I learned dance and filmmaking. There were about six women in my class. Our graduation was flame themed, and I kept obsessing over adding red flames to the yellow and white flame decorations. My dad's parents were the only ones in attendence at the ceremony, and afterwards my grandfather walked up the grassy hill with me in the twilight and gave me sentimental advice. This is completely out of character for him.
I somehow met up with The Starlet, who moved out of out apartment and away to Boston over a month ago. While I was waiting for her at her pole dancing class (which she really does) her frumpily dressed teacher heard I graduated from the Carolena school and asked if I could do a split, demonstrating. Then she showed me her mad breakdancing skills and I suggested that for Halloween she should be one of those kids who breakdances on the subway. Her students thought it was a dumb idea.
Finally Starlet came out of wherever she was, wearing a lace bodystocking and a faux fur stole. A randomly placed gay man asked where she got it and I suggested in my way that maybe it had come from a sexy junkstore. She glared at me and gave the name of a sexy junkstore.
We decided to go to Marshall's together, and I wanted to help her pick things out, but I saw a throw pillow I liked. I got closer and realized it was ugly (I find this type of thing happens often in stores like Marshall's), but I went into the furniture section to see if there were more. I got sort of trapped in a maze of ugly ceramic furniture. Ceramic tables with ceramic chairs. Ceramic bureaus and vanities. Ceramic sofas and end tables and not a stick of wood in sight. I really have no idea how I made my way out.
Here's where I remember stuff way more clearly.
On my way back I traveled on a dusty dirt road and was waved through a cleanup crew, then suddenly realized I saw a couple dead bodies. I figured it was a car accident and carefully drove through the cleanup crew, but suddenly I noticed the bodies were everywhere. I was having trouble avoiding them with my weird electric truck. They were mostly covered at first, but as I kept driving they were just laying out. At one point I saw a whole bunch of them piled up. I tried hard not to freak out but I could feel my heart beat faster and I hit the gas a bit harder. I accidentally ran over a dead woman and I heard the coroner yell at me as I sped away.
I drove to a nice, shady street and got out of the electric truck to call my sister, and while I was on the phone the shop vac part of the truck disengaged and rolled down a hill-traffic was coming, so I had to just watch it fall into somebody's hidden driveway. A woman with a bullhorn came out of the wooded yard and crossed the street, and as she raised the bullhorn to her lips I waved at her and said, "it's mine. I'm sorry." She just walked off in the direction I had come from.
I crossed the street and walked down the driveway. I knew I was related to these people somehow. The woman's husband and their adult son were there with a big rubber industrial hamper, dead bodies leaning upright against it on two adjoining sides. I tried not to freak out. My shop vac had landed in the middle of the hamper, and as the men lifted it out for me they told me they were helping the cleanup crew with the poor people who died in that awful car accident in 1975. I accidentally got splashed with some kind of fluid. I realized there had been no cars on the dusty road I'd driven on earlier. I left them the shop vac, thinking they would have better use of it then me and I walked away, but I woke up before I reached the end of the driveway.

I've been having strange, vivid dreams again lately...
I was working as a school recruiter again, only this time my job was splitting time between production work and counseling Kindergarteners. My boss was a shrew-ish woman who was the 'pretty and popular' type, with blonde hair and perfect makeup. After I explained to a five-year-old girl why I had to cater to producers and directors, my boss came to my office and told me she was really upset because she felt unappreciated at work. I took her out to a bar (which was located in an upscale Hot Topic) and listened to her as she drowned her sorrows - only she didn't drown her sorrows. She and everyone else in the bar kept talking about the antiques and how cool they were, but the only thing I could guess was antique was a chandelier that looked like it had been made from some Medieval torture device. The Heartbreaker showed up with a friend of his and told me they had laid down the sound equipment I'd asked for and said they would take over for me so I could get some sleep. There was a really cool wire-framed mirror on the wall that I knew had a camera behind it. I knew the next day I would be able to see and hear everything that went on with them.
I got up and left and went back to my bedroom, which was in a tall building adjacent to the bar. I tried to sleep, but couldn't, and eventually started peering out the window to see what was happening with them. They seemed to be having a really good time together, like they were flirting and stuff, and I started feeling frantic. I dug through a closet full of clothes to find something to put on, which seemed to take forever, then I ran down down down the stairs to the bar, but when I got there they were gone. My heart sank.
This man was there, tall with brown hair and a kind smile and a very steady voice. He helped me check the microphones, and we figured out everything was still hooked up right. I started hoping the Heartbreaker would hear me prattling on, worrying that he was with my boss, but then we discovered everything was turned off. I kept imagining them together somewhere. The man who was helping me turned on all the microphones again and asked me to tell him the story of the Heartbreaker. I explained to him how I spent months and months trying to get his attention, and how finally he had loved me and promised me things and then how he had disappointed and hurt me so by cheating on me and lying to me. I started to explain that I was broken from so many other things too, but the man shushed me and kissed me and told me everything was going to be alright. He started whispering things to me like, "do you know how much I want you right now?" and it made me rather uncomfortable. I didn't trust him, but I let him go on kissing me...I don't remember anything after that.
