"It's weird," said Mom about the music. "It sounds like a horror movie or something."

I've been chatting a little with the Sound Scientist, and the more I talk to him the more interesting he gets. He's an experimental musician, which kind of falls into my "Uh-huh, sure, whatever" category of art appreciation, but I found some of his music online (stalky stalky now) and it's actually really interesting and soothing. It sounds kind of like his voice.

He worked on a piece about the bridges in Cleveland. He knows more about them than I do, which is kind of cool since they've always fascinated me. I've always wanted to do a color photography set about them and I've wondered for a long time when I'm ever going to get the chance.

Now that my job on the film is over (and yes, it's absolutely over) I'm casually scoping out the work scene for on-location jobs in or around Cleveland. It would be great to find a temporary gig here and be able to spend some time with Mom and Salty (and Peanut!).
