It's overanalysis week

Shark week be damned. I'll never get the hype. It must be one of those 'people who have TV' things.

Here at Miss Adventurous it's Overanalysis Week. We'll be taking things that have happened recently and neurotically overanalyzing them in less than 140 characters (stole that from Twitter). Ready? Here goes!

- It was blithely suggested by two assistant location managers (in tandem) that I go into locations. Overanalysis: "I'm concerned I was too hasty with this AD track thing. You know, location managers are DGA...it's a perfectly viable route to being a UPM..."

- CC was apparently too busy to see me all weekend. Overanalysis: "He must just not actually like me. If he really cared he'd make time. He'd invite me places. It's probably my fault for writing that post."

- I was asked for an electronic file and did not have a copy of it because the UPM does not understand the concept of copy and paste, only that of cut and paste. The LA production office grumbled at me. Overanalysis: "They must think I'm terrible at my job. I mean, I know I'm good at my job but what if there's something I'm missing completely? What then?"

- Starlet has spent the last week in her bedroom with the door shut. Overanalysis: "Am I being a jerk about the deposit thing? Maybe I should cut her a break and do it sooner. I don't want her to leave upset with me..."
