Funniest donut-related comment/email wins this fabulous prize! This Dunkin Donuts coupon was given to me by the heinous coworker at my current temp job. She thrust it upon me even after I told her three times I do not want a donut.
I'm miserable doing this ridiculous excuse for work, but at least I get to entertain myself with blogging and facebook while waiting for a movie job to open up.
If you win I'll send the coupon by mail. It does require that you buy a cup of coffee, but I'm trying to start an anti-Starbucks movement, so I'm happy to encourage you to purchase a cheaper, better cup from DD.
I know my little prize is kinda lame, but at least having a contest
for a donut is kind of funny. Please help me amuse myself during this trying time of having to do stupidly easy work to stay afloat during a phase of unemployment!

When I was 19 I had this great idea that I wanted to a photographic tribute to pretty donuts and was going to take photos of the most colorful sprinkliest donuts I could find and it was going to light up the art world I tell you! But, then I realized I know nothing about photography and have no artisitic skill to speak of and I let the dream die :(
When I was in high school my older brother took an overnight job making donuts (pre-bagels) for Lord Dunkin. He would come home in the morning stinking like fried foods and various cremes and jelly's. We would ask him, where my munchkins at. He didn't appreciate that.
Not really a funny caption but if you give me the coupon I'll buy you the coffee. Not really into coffee.
Ok, I promised you the donut story, so here it is... Word of warning, it's not really mine, it was told to me by a costume designer I worked with in college:
As a new employee at a theater, my friend brought in donuts to work as an offering of good will. Upon entering the room, then entire staff laughed.
What she didn't know was the summer theater she worked with had this little problem with sex. Everyone was having it. Of course, the culprits would come in late to work the next morning. To apologize for this, they would bring in donuts... every time. Donuts soon became synonymous with getting lucky.
And that is my story. I won't eat the donut, and probably won't even get the coffee, but I had to share.
