I had a phone interview to operate a feature today! It’s a tier 1 so little money and not much Steadi rental, but it’s a feature! And the DP liked me! It would be quite a feather in my IMDB page…and fodder for my reel.
I opened the rental negotiation kind of high compared to what I think production wants; hopefully they don’t balk. But if they do then maybe it just wasn’t meant to be.
I texted Chris about it and basically got a meh in response… that didn’t feel great.
